Winging its way....

I am very excited that my new CD, ‘Places with high levels of natural beauty’, is winging its way into the world after its official launch last Friday night, 18 March 2016.

I had a lovely evening with a small group of family and friends, and was honoured that the Mayor of Blue Mountains, Councillor Mark Greenhill OAM, accepted my invitation to launch this CD.  He spoke beautifully, as did my friend Llew Kiek, an outstanding musician and composer who was also the CD’s producer.  A real pleasure for me was to play an arrangement of one of my pieces, the title piece of the CD, with the beautiful cellist and friend Frances Firth.

All in all it was a most enjoyable evening, and I am glad that this CD is now out in the world.  You can find out more about it on this website, and if you are interested in doing so, you can purchase a physical CD directly through this website, or download it through the international websites CD Baby (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/petawilliams3) or iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/places-high-levels-natural/id1090707073).  Physical copies of the CD will also be available on CD Baby soon.

To find out more, go to the tab ‘Music Products’ by clicking here.

I thank all of my friends and family who joined me last Friday night in celebrating the birth of this new CD; your warmth, love and support is deeply appreciated.

And if you do have a chance to listen to this CD, I would be interested in your thoughts about last week’s blog, about whether this music could be one of the vehicles you can use to ‘turn inwards’, so that you are more able to ‘turn outwards’ and be present in whatever life has to offer you in any given moment.

I will leave you with some photographic evidence of a happy launch.  Photos courtesy of Anthony Taylor, with my warmest thanks.

Until next time,

Peta

PS You no doubt will have noted that I am wearing the same top that I was wearing for the photos for this website - how clever is that!
